Breaking In.
Our breaking in education programme is second to none. A legacy left by our founder, master horseman Greg Bennett, that established an education programme according to Greg’s ethos of ‘take the time it takes’. Our 30 day programme delivers your young racehorse up to the stage of travelling forward in the jockey pad in company and familiarisation at the barriers. The breaking in programme exposes your horse to many new experiences and works to build confidence and skills through repetition and routine ensuring you receive a genuine racing prospect to go forward with.
Pre Training.
Fenwick Farm pretraining racehorses are worked daily under saddle by some of the most talented and experienced hands in South East Queensland, travelling around either on our 1300m sand track or 1500m irrigated, curated grass track. Once baseline fitness is achieved on the sand, our immaculate facilities enable us to work to your trainer’s specifications to step up fitness and education with grass pace work ensuring your horse is as forward in their racing preparation as they can possibly be when they leave our gates to continue their preparation on track.
